Scope

Secure IoT and cybersecurity are essential to protect sensitive data, ensure privacy, and maintain trust in billions of connected devices. They safeguard critical infrastructures and daily life systems from cyberattacks, disruptions, and safety risks. The International Conference on Secure IoT and Cybersecurity (ICOSICS) aims to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners to explore and advance innovative solutions ensuring the security, privacy, and resilience of emerging IoT technologies. The conference will span the full spectrum from theoretical foundations to practical implementations, across both industrial and consumer applications.

About RVCE

RV College of Engineering (RVCE), established in 1963 is one of the earliest self-financing engineering colleges in the country. The institution is run by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), a not-for-profit Trust. RVCE is an Autonomous college. Currently, the institution offers 13 Bachelor, 13 Master Programs and all the departments have Research Centres, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi. The institution has set itself a Vision “Leadership in Quality Technical Education, Interdisciplinary Research & Innovation, With a Focus on Sustainable and Inclusive Technology”.

Recent awards and achievements include - NAAC accreditation "A+ " grade, Rank band 101-150 in the Country by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF: 2025), QS I-GAUGE Overall Rating: DIAMOND, Ranked 2nd in the country - IIRF Ranking (2027 - Pvt. Engg. Autonomous Colleges), Ranked 5th among the top 10 of 250 Pvt. Engg. Colleges in the Country by Education World Magazine-2027. Ranked 1501+ in Times Higher Education World University Rankings-2027. Ranked 1005+ in Computer Science and 1501+ Rank in Engineering category in THE World University Rankings-2027, Ranked 1501+ in Impact Ranking in THE World University Rankings-2027, Ranked 601+ in THE World University Rankings (Asia)-2027, and NPTEL (Local Chapter) “AA” Rating.

The institution has to its credit over 1800 National and International Journal publications, filed 138 patents, 107 published patents, 54 granted patents, completed sponsored research and consultancy projects worth Rs. 30.0 crores in the last five years. The institution has established 28 Centres of Excellence / Centres of Competence in niche areas of science and technology. The students have won awards and accolades in national and international competitions.

About
CISCO RVCE Centre of Excellence in Internet of Things

The Centre of Excellence is a joint initiative between CISCO and RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru, to set up an environment that would empower young minds through knowledge and training for enhancing employability, research and innovation in emerging field of Internet of Things (IoT).

The Centre of Excellence is setting up to create skillful resources and helping the academics and industry to build a ecosystem addressing the future needs of industry. Part of the activities, Initially RVCE-CISCO Center of Excellence in IoT is offering wide variety of training programs for student / faculties and professional at various levels for both in private and government sectors.

Submission

ICOSICS 2027 invites unique, high-quality submissions that describe research and findings that contribute to advances in the conference scope.

The submitted article should be a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 8 pages, including figures, tables, and references. This is a strict limit for initial submission. During the final submission of accepted articles, authors may purchase additional pages if they believe it is essential to address the reviewers' concerns.

Double-blind reviewing:Manuscripts will be assessed by at least two reviewers who will give quality comments. If the submission is approved, the authors will submit a revised ("camera-ready") version that incorporates the review comments.

Ethical Requirements :

The paper is substantially original and no paper substantially similar in content has been submitted to any other conference or journal.

The article should be free from plagiarism: Note: Paper to be submitted to publisher, the overall similarity rate should not exceed 20%, and the similarity rate to a single source should not exceed 5%.

Papers must be submitted in English and will be evaluated on their originality, reliability, relevance, significance, and overall clarity.

Submission of a paper should be addressed as an agreement that, if accepted, at least one of the authors must register and present the research work on the day of the conference.

Sections of the work that include AI-generated text must provide a citation to the AI system that created the material.

The program committee chairs retain the authority to reject any papers that do not meet these conditions.

Registration Guidelines:

  • Please read the following information thoroughly. You must register before submitting the final version of the approved paper.
  • Any paper accepted by ICOSICS Technical committee but not presented online or in person will be removed from the official proceedings.
  • The paper accepted by the Technical Programme Committee will be published in the conference proceedings once it is registered.
  • The publication fees for one paper are included in the author registration price.
  • Registration fees include Admission to all sessions, electronic proceedings, and Conference materials.
